- Inconsistent 0 people found this helpfulMay not be worth the great price? We ordered two sets of Brother LC75 cartridges because were out of one color and low on others. The cartridge had a tab that said to "pull". Did and ink poured out. Horrified, I called and got great help with a replacement being sent and confirmed I hadn't done anything wrong. I was told, lay flat and pull slowly. Although that's what I did originally, I was happy - thought maybe I did pull "too fast" that first time. Hung up. Replaced ink. Another cartridge said "replace me!" I grabbed the next color and S-L-O-W-L-Y pulled the tab. Didn't even have it 1/4 off and boom - ink pouring out all over! Sigh. Good thing I'd ordered two first time and I'd called to know what to do. Went to the second one and went to pull. Right when I pulled - you guessed it, again, ink EVERYWHERE! They were closed for calls at this time so my husband dealt with the return/replacement. New kind sent looked completely different. Nothing to pull. Something to push. Worked. No ink everywhere. I liked that. So, I guess it depends on which kind of cartridge they send you and/or whether or not you pull with the correct speed and/or pressure if they send you the kind with the "pull" tab. Be ready with paper towels and ziploc (they'll want you to send it back to them) in case! End of the day, due to the "pull" kind we lost a week of printing time we hadn't counted on. If we'd paid more at the store wouldn't have had the hassle, the ink everywhere, the need to return...not sure what we'll do next time. Wish there was a way to request what kind you'd get.
