They didn't tell me that the ink that comes with the printer is only enough to print 3 pages of text! I purchased a new black cartridge of ink from Inkjets because the other three colored cartridges still registered as not empty. The printer would not print even with the new black cartridge I had just installed. I went to Staples and asked them what they thought the problem was. They told me that the Epson printer would ONLY WORK WITH EPSON INK. I didn't believe them and did not purchase the colored ink cartridges from them. Instead I ordered new colored ink cartridges from Ink Jets.com. My new cartridges arrived just 2 days later and after installing them my printer is now working fine. So . . . . I would tell you to NOT BELIEVE what you may hear from a STAPLES employee regarding ink. It seems that they are interested in saying whatever is necessary to get you to PAY TWICE AS MUCH for the brand name ink cartridges.
